Job Purpose

As part of the MFC Sports sales division you will be responsible for building our market share in the football market through developing sales opportunities throughout the sector and for maintaining and developing enduring customer relationships. You will meet and exceed challenging targets but will be supported by our well established sales and customer support network.

Line Management

You will report directly to the Director of Sales.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

Planning and Analysing the Market

  • Developing and maintaining a database of football clubs throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
  • Categorising the above database and prioritising the sales focus.
  • Researching individual clubs and identifying the key decision makers.
  • Discussing and securing approval for monthly sales plans and targets from the Director of Sales.

 

Creation of Enduring Business Partnerships

  • Setting up meetings with key decision makers in football clubs in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
  • Presenting MFC Sports products to the clubs supported by a suite of samples covering a range of products.
  • Preparing and delivering appropriate presentations on MFC Sports football products.
  • Managing the ordering process and liaising with the MFC Sports Customer Service and Order Management departments as appropriate.
  • Organising and managing ‘fitting days’ to ensure maximum customer communication and satisfaction.
  • Managing effective communication with client clubs to ensure long term partnerships and repeat and enhanced ordering patterns.
  • Collecting customer payments as per the MFC Sports ‘Cash Handling Procedure’.
  • Managing and resolving customer complaints through effective and professional communication with the customer.

 

Building the MFC Sports Market Profile

  • Maximising the exposure and credibility of the MFC Sports brand throughout the designated region and customers.
  • Participating in PR and marketing activities aimed at developing the MFC corporate profile.
  • Participating in PR and marketing activities aimed at developing the football market but also supporting other sports activities.
  • Supporting management in developing impactful partnerships with high football clubs and organisations.
  • Using every opportunity to promote the MFC Sports ethos of customer service, product quality and organisation integrity.

 

Managing Workload and Sales Targets

  • Ensuring that every effort is made to meet monthly targets and to take corrective action as appropriate.
  • Ensuring that your sales activities are managed to ensure maximum effective customer engagement.
  • Attending monthly sales meetings with the Director of Sales.
  • Communicating results on a weekly basis to the Director of Sales.

 

Administration

  • Managing and maintaining excellent customer and sales records.
  • Ensuring that all order information is accurate and submitted for processing in a timely, efficient and presentable format.
  • Managing and maintaining a growing and accessible customer database.

 

General

  • Assisting the Director of Sales as and when appropriate.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties in the context of this post as required.

 

Person Specification

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will provide the highest quality administrative support to MFC Sports customer service and order management processes. He/she will work closely with the Customer Service Executive and the Order Management Executive. The postholder will report to the Office Manager.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

General

  1. Processing enquiries via e-mails, websites & social media platforms.
  2. Dealing with customer relations and enquiries on a personal level and over the telephone.
  3. Ensuring that any customer service issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
  4. Supporting the Office Manager to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction as well as order accuracy.

 

Pre-order Responsibilities

  1. Explaining the order process to the customer.
  2. Logging customer info onto database for future reference.
  3. Explaining terms and conditions to customers including minimum order quantity, sample packs etc.
  4. Processing customer data for the Graphic Designer and other members of staff (sample packs, order staff).

 

Order Phase Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring that all necessary order information is logged prior to sending it to order management staff for processing.
  2. Providing order management staff with all info relating to design, quantity and time-frame.
  3. Recording data on order form and working with graphics team to ensure design accuracy.
  4. Liaising directly with customer until they are completely satisfied with their order

 

Post Order Responsibilities

  1. Responding to customer queries during the production and delivery phase.
  2. Logging customer feedback and encouraging customers to leave positive reviews on MFC social media platforms.
  3. Working with despatch staff to ensure accuracy of quality checking order.

 

General

  1. Carrying out all reasonable duties associated with this position.
